Yesterday I was on the beach drawing in Ilfracombe and it was a sensationally beautiful day. the sand was warm and golden, the sea was an ever changing dance of blues. There was a little boy who played continuously for 4 hours, by himself, with his digger in the sand, he talked to passers by and played with dogs & jumped in the sea with other children he met. He was LOVE & he was BEING & he was in the moment. He reminded me of how simply joyous life can be. The child in me was lit up when he played with the dogs & ran around happily in the sun.
